GPX files helping you get the most out of your printed maps
Each printed maps set comes with Global Exchange Format files, commonly referred to as GPX files. A GPX file (waypoint with lat/long) helps you pin point the identified cuts that are shown on your maps using your GPS. These GPX files correspond with the cuts on our printed map sets and the maps that display on your Custom Maps enabled Garmin GPS units using our micro SD cards.
Below is an example of what the GPX files look like overlaid onto Google earth. The first set of numbers is the year the cut (Aspen) was harvested and the second set of numbers is the size of the cut in acres.
